TRACE North Texas was founded on December 29, 2015 in response to the needs of those affected by the North Texas tornadoes. Since inception, we have helped over 150 families get back on their feet.
Liz and Tracy have been a Godsend! While my wife and kids were trying to get back into the "norm", these two took the load off my back, and made it possible to get everything together so I could get my family established, and myself back to work. Thank you so much!

My "adopted mother" helped us ....with EVERYTHING. Help with filling our temporary home with furniture , appliances, clothing, and necessities. Coordinated the most awesome birthday for my son Micah, everything from finding a venue to cake and presents....not only presents for Micah but our whole family! She gave us important information and resources and was "there" for us emotionally. She's listened and given advice bc she knows exactly what we're going through surviving a disaster as well. OH AND coordinated a Mavericks game for us!....AND coordinated months of MMA for my son...I guess the list goes on and on...Kat has been our angel, backbone, support, and friend. We are forever thankful for her and for "adopting" us and helping us put our lives back together!
My experience of being adopted by Tonni has been very heartwarming. I thank God every day that this foundation is in our community. Without it, our transition would have been more overwhelming than it has been.
Hi! I'm Sonya....my adopted family has been a big help to myself and my daughters Leslie adopted us and she showed up to help me clean out refrigerator at a short notice and had bricks delivered so my beagle couldn't escape new yard. Just knowing I have a support system I can turn to if I really need something ha s been very reassuring while we ride out this storm. Thank u!!!!
LeAnn and Lykinda have not only provided for us in the ways I have mentioned, but also been a great support emotionally. Without this help, I'm not sure where my family and I would be right now. Thank you all so much. My family and I look forward to making a full recovery from this set back, and paying it all forward to others. God Bless you all!
Thank you for thinking of all the families who are in need. Need for food and more but mostly for prayers, hugs and hope. We are so humble for all the help we have been receiving. Our amazing Angel is Misti. She has been an Angel send from God to us. She just need her wings. Let me tell you that she is the Angel who doesn't sleep! She thinks for me. I am so grateful she has been part of my life and my kids life since she contacted me the first time. She will be calling me and asking me where I was because I could loose time or forget to do things.
She will be 24-7 thinking on what else she can do for us... and I know she is helping more families. She's a blessing from heaven. She's been also helping a young man that is a volunteer at Church City. He needs so much help and she's doing more than she van to help him. Please thank everyone who is evolved (((HUGS)))

How did you impact me: the friendship . People that I didn't even know have helped us so much ....the kind words, wanting to help in any way they could ---coming from their heart, items their home was given, their own tears to my eyes ---joy in my heart to take time out of your day to do a little something for anybody that they didn't even know, but thank you . Thanks everybody-- Tonni was great. Kim who came and brought us gift cards and prayers with her son all the way from Plano. Tonni who came from McKinney several times to put a smile on my face, bring dinner, aloe vera for our daughter's radiation burns, and backpack for our grandaughter and helping locate furniture, dishes, even a Keurig. Her friend, who came and brougnt a Wii to our grandaughter. Melissa to bring us food her and her daughter Kaylee---everyone who touched our hearts through meal train, I thank them all. We're in our new house now. God willing, will be happy to get back to a routine thank you very much from our hearts.
